More Space Needed!

As we have learned the past six months, twins require lots of toys, cloths, baby supplies and everything else that comes along. When you add this to everything Chris and I have collected over the years, you need more space. Hence the reason for our new house which we close on this coming Wednesday. We will have our hands full for the next month or two, but we can't wait to have everyone over!!!
Memorial Day Weekend
Corinne and Reid had their very first swim with Mom and Grandma at the lake House. It took a little getting use to, but once they warmed up to the idea they had a blast. Note to self - when you fill up a baby pool, let the water warm up a day before you put the kids in;)
As an added bonus for the weekend, both Corinne and Reid have learned to sit up unassisted. Corinne has also learned to scoot backwards on her belly. Looks like it is time to start the baby proofing process.

Baptism
Corinne and Reid were Baptised Sunday by Bishop Hearn at Moody Memorial Methodist Church in Galveston. Bishop Hearn is our great uncle and also officiated our wedding. Both Corinne and Reid listened intently during the Baptism and didn't make a peep. Except for when we were introduced to the entire congregation and Corinne said hello!!!!

Mothers Day and Grandpa Bob's 89th B-Day
We celebrated Mothers Day and Grandpa Bob's birthday with friends and family. It was a wonderful first Mother's Day, and I was so glad to share the special day with Bob. We have been so blessed to have Bob in our life, and cherish every moment!
This week, the babies learned some new tricks. They both learned to shriek (with joy), and now love holding onto their feet. Reid also decided it was time to start rolling onto his side. The kids have also been experimenting with solid foods. Reid loves them all, but we have yet to find something that Corinne likes.
