Corinne gave us a scare Friday. She had had a wicked cold for a few days, and when we took her in for a second appointment with the pediatrician, he told us to go directly to the emergency room at Texas Children's because she was straining to breathe. The doctors there diagnosed her with bronchialitis (not to be confused with bronchitis). We were at the hospital for full 24 hours, while Corinne received oxygen and was monitored. The little trooper made a pretty quick turn-around, and we're back at the house. And of coarse, Reid has come down with the same bug. Let's hope they can both make a quick recovery.
Oh how scary! You guys its so heartbreaking seeing that little breathing tube in her nose! We wish both of them a speedy recovery - they are little troopers! Let us know if we can do anything.
